5 minutes to launch the main menu with overlay on
20 secondes with overlay off.

As someone who likes to take tons of screenshots, having to turn off the overlay is a chore...

If you haven't tried it already, launch with Vulkan instead of DX11, had the same issue and this fixed it.

Prior to the Patch 1 update, launching with the GOG launcher was really fast...like < 15 seconds to get to the main menu.

After patch 1, launching with any combination of GOG overlay, no overlay, DX11 or Vulkan all take close to 90 seconds to get to the main menu.

Not sure what happened, but man, something's borked.

UPDATE: I had to force close GOG Galaxy after unchecking the "overlay" box and now it's back to fast loading. Hope GOG fixes this soon.

Loading times with overlay now : 6 minutes 30
without : 30 sec.

I sent the issue to Larian

long loading times could just be your network... try disabling cross saves [it doesn't currently work away]
