Starting a new game having last played around the time of Patch 2 so decided to take advantage of the inbuilt mod support. Read that using mods disables achievements and that people got warnings when starting a modded game.

I've installed several mods, increased the level cap to 20, increased party size and a tactician one to balance the difficulty, Mystra's spells and better UI. Haven't received any warnings unless I completely missed them somehow.

Do mods now not affect achievements with Patch 8 or perhaps only some mods cause this? Or am I an idiot who clicked past a warning without noticing twice?

mods disable achievements... at the start of any game you should be asked if you want to reset tips, saying no means you don't get that warning again
