The movies are lagging pretty bad, do something about that. The game works fine itself (by now, I've just started)
Same problem here, the first movie after the tutorial froze and the audio was very choppy. I use Win7 64bit, GTX 970, Xeon E3-1230 v3.

I don't get any lagging movies but the loading times are extremely long, expecially starting the game each time.

Compared to almost every other recent Unity game, the loading times are pretty good I thought. The thing that bugs me though is that it seems to take ages to get to the "loading" screen, but only a few seconds after that it finishes loading - so it looks like it takes ages to load the loading screen, but actual loading doesn't take long at all. I guess someone messed something up with the load order or something...

To you and everyone else experiencing movie troubles:

1. Update your codec pack or get a codec pack if you don't have one. CCCP or K-LITE codec packs are awesome and not only improve your gaming experience in atom, but video watching on your computer in general.

Doesn't help?

2. Update your video card drivers, especially if you are using an aged ATI card.

Doesn't help?

3. Get your DXDIAG information, as well as the contents of the output_log.txt found in the game folder, and write to support@atomrpg.com mentioning that you experience movie lag. We are pretty busy at the moment, but we will always try to find a couple of minutes to figure out a unique solution, since we love you guys for supporting us :) However, a unique solution is not always possible. Some machines just hate Atom or Unity games in general...

If we could not find a way to help you out, turn off movies from the game options menu.
