Maybe I am just imagining things, but it seems to me that all opponents have their action points maxed out. They can shoot twice with weapons which cost 5 AP/shot, or attack 3 times bare-handed which also requires minimum 9 APs.

It was the most prevalent in the "Death Gang" encounters, making those fights extremely difficult. Even with 2 or 3 followers with my PC they outnumber us (twice), and they can do much more in a round than any of my followers are able. But other combat encounters are seemingly affected by this, too.

If this is really so, it makes the fights very unfair. It is also very difficult to keep our dog friend alive as enemies tend to shoot the closest target to them (which is most often the poor doggo), and getting 2 shoots/round/enemy turns him quickly to dogmeat. He is quite useless in combat if I want to keep him alive.

I love this game, and already put 60+ hours into it but this unfairness in combat significantly diminishes the experience for me. It would be nice to see it corrected so enemies have a realistic spread of APs.

I noticed this on a much earlier quest while trying to clear out the spiders in the sewers underneath Krasnoznamenny. I figured I'd be able to hit them once, then back away and take them out one at a time. Nope. Those little guys had at least 9 AP., and possibly 10. They hit just about as hard as the dog did as well.

Fortunately, I wasn't playing on Survival mode, or else that would have wiped out about a half-dozen characters!
