I have run into an issue wherein the moment I meet the security guard, (I assume, since I haven't had a conversation with him yet) the game crashes, and, since the game launches without a start menu, I can't even load any of my manual saves before it crashes again. I have gone down the list in GOG tech support, but it seems to just be a bug. I have just started, so I suppose I could reinstall the game and see if that helps, but I really would rather not, just yet.

I've sent you my savegames, but, yes, I do have that effect disabled, since it makes me nauseous. I guess I will have to restart the game to check if that is the issue, since I can't access a menu before it crashes. I really feel that not having a start menu was a mistake, honestly, since it keeps me from being able to load a game or adjust settings without restarting... Oh, and I am not on a Mac, should probably have mentioned that.
