Are there any thoughts on this? I think I'm interested in this game, but I'm now even more hesitant than before...

1322: Another video review here with some gameplay by SidAlpha. He talks a little bit about the fake review controversy towards the end.

The game is fantastic, the majority of the negative reviews don´t play the game more than 1 hour. I am playing and it´s pretty fun and challenging with a lot of hours.

Agreed. I've been playing Asura on Linux Mint and it kicks major ass. Asura's like a darker rogue Bastion. Almost like if God Of War were rogue and used Indian mythology instead of Greek.
