I'd much prefer to pick this game up here than on Steam, but I'm worried that this will get slower updates than the steam version due to some experiences I've had in the past (e.g. Zachtronics games).

It'd be great to see a dev answer on this, because it looks really cool!

Momoguru (the developer) has it set up to automatically update them both at the same time.

It really is a great game!
Alpha Tester Astyanyx here. Momoguru has a single build for both platforms, and he uses a batch file to upload that version to both platforms at the same time. If one is slower than the other it should be by only a matter of minutes.
Awesome, thank you both for the answers!

Well, unless they have changed something recently, for Galaxy GOG team have to check that version first before allowing the game to update and for offline installers they pick up the new build and create the patch so it depends on both sides.

Anyway, happy to hear that Momoguru already thought about that. Some devs come to GOG without having clear what to do with their updates and sometimes there are problems because that.

Thanks for the info!
