That's not a very informative error message it's given you, but possibly someone at https://www.gog.com/forum/general_beta_gog_galaxy_2.0 can help you interpret the log files.

Mine keeps telling me it fails with an E6 message. "You don't own a valid copy of this game." I bought the Deluxe Edition and now the server is telling me I don't own it. GOG must hate me for some reason.

I have got an Error E9. It is marked in French : "Les serveurs GOG.com ont renvoyé une erreur inconnue" (in english : "GOG.com servers returned an unknown error") and "la mise à jour a échoué (E9) (in english : "the update has failed").

I'll probably have to buy the game somewhere else if gog can't solve my problem.

Help me, please.

I had the E6 error with the last build. With the current build I got the error "Update failed (E9) - GOG.com servers returned an unknown error.".

I hope, GOG could resolve this issue.

I have this same problem too, i contacted support and am waiting for a reply. in my case it also stripped the preorder dlc from my account, it doesnt show up in my extras on galaxy or when you go into configure to activate theres no dlc shown at all.
I'm also getting error E6 - You don't own a valid copy of this game.

So I tried to uninstall and reinstall clean, but now the pre-order bonus content is gone.

When I launch the game via the .exe, everything's fine and dandy until I try to load a game, at which point it'll load, show the character and world and everything, then display a pop-up saying "you don't have the Call of the Paragons DLC installed" - which would be pretty difficult to do considering that DLC is not out yet.

I'm assuming it really means the Preorder DLC like others have mentioned; however that too should not be an issue since A) I preordered back in September and got the preorder DLC when it launched just fine and B) as of 5 hours ago I've been credited (without any input on my end) an "Asterigos: Pre-order Bonus Pack" (marked down to $0.00 from $99.99, fascinatingly enough). I can't seem to interact with or download this seperately so far as I can tell.

There was a Paragon-DLC download with the offline installers. If the game was installed via Galaxy, it should have been installed, too. I think it was a place holder for the complete DLC later. But it added the paragon outfit for Hilda to the game, too. This offline installer file is now missing and if I check via the Configure-Dialog in Galaxy, the DLC is missing, too.

Sadly, something seems to be really messed up here.

Hello,

I managed to get the PC version of the game "Asterigos: curse of the stars" working again on gog galaxy.

You have to start a new game, play normally, make manual saves very often.

Then, when you have finished your game, you must "load a game" and not "Continue".

And at that time, there will no longer be the bug with the "Asterigos: Pre-order Bonus Pack".
I also get the error, but I do see the preorder dlc as a download in my extras. When I load a game I get a bunch of popups about the dlc. Everything seems to work other than the Paragon skin. Looks like it changes to it for a split second and then reverts to the default skin.
I also get the E6 - You don't own a valid copy of this game error. It's happened every patch that shows up, uninstalling and re-installing the game seems to fix the issue but that is an annoying work around.

I have the pre-order material as well.
