Cn you play this game as a full warrior? Or do you need the spells to be honest im not very good with spellcasting here.
Playing a full warrior is possible in theory but not really recommended because later in the game you have to face insanely deadly melee enemies.

Fireball is the main offensive spell for day-to-day use, so once you have the runes for that and can draw them reliably you've got the magic system mostly covered.

One important detail of the magic system that you may not be aware of is that you can pre-cast by holding Shift before releasing Ctrl. This makes it easy to queue up a few spells you expect to be using without having to cast them on demand in the heat of the moment. You can queue up to three spells at a time, and they are cast with the 1/2/3 keys. Spells cast immediately don't affect your saved slots so you can have them full and still cast other spells as needed.
thanks for the tips because to be honest i got a char now who is not very good with magic but i m gonna give him some way that he can cast fireball.

Could you give some examples? I am playing as warrior, just beat that ugly summoned demon near meteor rock and beat the temple with riddles near snake woomen part of dungeon. So far I can defeat my enemies with sword. When will I met that insanely deadly melee enemies? I'm worried that I will not be able to finish my game, cause I choose warrior hero.

I was referring to the Ylsides, the guys in distinctive metal armour. You're about at the point where you have to start fighting them anyway (if you haven't already) so you might as well keep going and see how things go.

Beating the Ylsides as a fighter is definitely possible, it's just not slanted in your favour as in many games so a purer build is required to have enough skill and attribute points to take them on.
Yeah, the Ylsides are very tough, so I say buffing up before the combat is highly recommended as it makes it a lot easier than without the use of magic.
Also, I found the liches to be very difficult to battle with a warrior build. And there are times when you have to face two of them simultaneously (though this can be avoided with a fast getaway, I guess).
The demon near the meteor rock is actually pretty easy because all you need to do is to follow a certain pattern to kill it, even with a minimal loss of health. With above enemies, it's a completely different thing.

Argh.. I have a break from playing now. And looks like I should start again with mage. I do not need higher difficulty level at first playthrough. So.. I need to focus on fireball. Any other advices?
its damn near impossible to play as a warrior as I've found. I bugged out an ylside somehow and even with a double casted harm on me it took a good 2 minutes of constant bashing with my two handed sword before I could kill it. It was bugged so it didnt hit back, but I could never survive going toe to toe with one of those. Now Im stuck in the castle with 3+ ylsides to fight and I think Im done with this game.

You don't actually need to fight the Ylsides there. You can get past them by using invisibility, secret passages, waiting for patrolling ones to move on, etc.

If this is what the Arkane guys thought to themselves when they were balancing the game then they being completely silly. Fortunately they grew a lot as game designers in later games.
No, you cannot be a full warrior. Yes, there are spell scrolls for certain places where/when you need a certain spell cast (like remove trap, telekinesis, or levitate, the most useful ones or story/quest/progressing/looting wise). But they need magic skill to be used (i think?). Also, there are spells that specifically augment warriors, like that haste spell. And last but not least, enemies like Liches and Ylsides will rip your ass and hand it to you, if you don't protect yourself with magic in Lich case, or do not start incinerating/throwing fireballs on the Ylsides' mugs.

This game is best played as a hybrid. Or something like a fighter mage. You get enough levels and points to be very good in both magic and melee. Besides, raising an ability beyond 100, there is no point in it.
I'm pretty sure there's a few points were magic is required to proceed, including the game finale, but if I remember correctly, there's always a scroll around that has the spell. Of course, blow the scroll doing something stupid and...

Actually, for the the finale, there's a way around that if you don't mind a bad ending.

In the case of dealing with Ylsides, and really, a whole lot else, I find Negate Magic is a create way to level the playing field. It works on everything. Including Akbaa.
I actually really like how the game is "unbalanced" like this. I mean come on; in a world where people can change the very fabric of reality with hand gestures, pure warriors wouldn't really stand a chance.
