Hello !
I have a problem with the interface in Arx. I play in 1280*1024 and the first time I changed to that resolution the interface was OK (not like the big ugly one we used to have in older versions). But now, whenever I launch the game, the resolution remains in 1280*1024... but the interface appears as in 800*600 ! Well I can turn to another resolution, apply, and again to 1280, but this is weird.
Apart from that, I can't find my saves folder or cfg.ini. Do anyone has an idea where they are ?

Your saves and configuration are (on Vista, and I assume XP works the same) located in:
C:\Users\Your_user_name\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\GOG.com\Arx Fatalis
Where Your_user_name is ... your user name.
Edit: Apparently the GOG message boards do not like backslashes?

As far as the interface is concerned, I have not find a way to "keep" it at 1280*1024 yet.

i have the same problem with the interface and sometimes when i load the game i get a black screen with only the mousepointer in the form of a hand.
my resolution is 1280*1024

About the loading issue - is your problem the same one as discussed here: [url=]http://www.gog.com/en/forum/arx_fatalis/game_save_problems/8[/url]? If so, just try waiting for a while after the loading screen disappears.
What video card do you have? I'm running a Radeon HD3800, and I don't have any issues with the interface. Could you post a screenshot? That might help in figuring out what's wrong.

i have a nvidia 8400 gs video card.
arx 3 is when you first launch arx fatalis with 1280*1024 resolution.
arx 4 is every time after the first launch with 1280*1024 resolution.look at inventory bag.

The interface not scaling is a "feature" of the 1.19 patch:

- New flare's occlusion system and optimization on Flare's management.
- Fixed the "done" button on charactersheet which was not working on some resolutions.
- Fixed the text size on the credits.
- Interface isn't scaled.
- Add version string in the menu.
