Is there a save file I can delete or any other way to restart my career including the change of the name I have previously entered.

I already looked for locations where a save file could be but can't find anything. Reinstalling the game and disabling cloud sync did not help either.

You can go to Options > Profile in order to reset progress.
The name used for leaderboards should be your GOG username.

It's good to know there's an option to start fresh. Speaking of career changes, I've actually been thinking about switching things up in my personal life too. While browsing online, I came across some interesting info about Phlebotomy. One post mentioned the duration of the training, and it got me curious.
