ninothin: I don't blame GOG for this issue, this is strictly on the shoulders of the developers, but with GOG selling new games there has to be parity between storefronts, and there has to be more flexible refund options for special circumstances like these. Because until GOG is bigger than steam, games here will receive less support and attention.
But isn't this already a perfect example of GOG having more flexible refund options for special circumstances? Back last September GOG announced that because of the reduced online functionality and lack of future content, they'd refund anyone who'd previously bought Armello here and were dissatisfied with its state. A few posts up, the Blue response to kloridrix suggests GOG is still following that policy.
