So I got cold war assault to relive the memories of operation flashpoint. i notice they changed the way the pistols operate quite a bit. For some reason your character stops dead in his tracks when reloading a pistol and it takes a hell of a lot longer, like 30 seconds to reload. Wtf is up with this? its not realistic and just leaves you open to get shot in the head. I know you are going to say "oh shut up no one uses pistols" but there are some mods like the Civil War mod where they are advantageous to use.

Are there any mods that get rid of this stupid new feature.

Not being able to reload "on-the-fly" was always a feature of this game, not just with pistols which were added in Resistance. As for the mods, I do not know if any made it possible to move when reloading.
