I played this game for years and the original site where I picked up my mods is still around:

http://ofp.gamepark.cz

There you can get tons of new campaigns, coop missions, new vehicles, new weapons, new maps, etc.

I highly recommend picking some of this up as it greatly increases the lifetime of the game.
Any recommendations for missions or campaigns? The site doesn't seem to have feedback or sorting by rating/downloads so it's hard to judge whether something might be decent or not.
Has anyone managed to find the stock campaign conversions for coop? As far as I know, they were done for both 1985: Cold War Crisis and Resistance. I'd love to play through them again with some friends, but I can't find them anywhere for the life of me.

e; I did find the desert themed conversion for 1985. Download here. (FTP)
Unfortunately, it's for version 1.46 and requires another addon which the FTP doesn't seem to have. I couldn't get it to work, but maybe somebody else will figure something out.

Quick question, does the warhammer 40k mod work for the GOG version? Was I the only one who though that mod was awesome?

Does anyone know if there's a texture or model pack to update the stock campaign to have higher res textures?

My laptop can run the game on full detail, but the models and textures still look dated.

I've had a look through the sites listed above, but there's so many to look through and it's not easy to search.

Well there are many mods which enhance the OFP graphic, you just need to search for them. I can recommend these mods:
ECP REDUX http://www.ecpredux.com/download---install.html
Enhanced Configuration Project (1.085) http://operationflashpoint.filefront.com/file/Enhanced_Configuration_Project;70118
DXDLL http://operationflashpoint.filefront.com/file/;49296
FFUR http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?65282-FFUR%2785-%282008-edition%29
(note some of those mods change also game mechanics)

Thanks. I've got ECP1.085, but the download for ECP Redux doesn't seem to work. The download never starts.

I like the look of DXDLL so I've downloaded that as well, and I also found the WW4 mod that improves the solder and weapon models and textures.

Shit, how did I miss this thread. I used to visit "ofp.gamezone.cz" all the time (dang, so long ago...) and was shocked that its down. Just a few days ago I discovered that it has simply moved to ofp.gamepark.cz and is still being updated pretty frequently. Would have known instantly if I had checked out this thread. >.<

One of the best, if not THE best, campaigns made was Retaliation. Too bad they couldn't get any funding for their effort to make a whole storyline.
ECP Redux for me its the best. It ships:
- Optimized graphic and screen layout for different aspect ratio (original game is 4:3 but nowadays 16:9 is common)
- High detail textures and models for everythings (islands, terrain, vehicles, soldiers...)
- DXDLL postprocessing effects
- a compilation of 350+ missions, plus some of the best campaigns created
- various game enhacement by scripts

Just go to the linked page and get a look at the Features page... is amazing!

-- EDIT (17/07/2013)
It looks like the ECP Redux web site is now offline (temporarily, I hope).
If you want to grab a copy of the last available version of this addon (v 1.3) send me a PM about it.
I have uploaded a copy on a file hosting site, I can provide you with a link for the download.

-- EDIT (20/08/2013)
The ECP Redux web site is online again. Use it to grab your copy of the mod, I no longer offer the download link anymore.

It looks like the ECP Redux web site is offline again. I think that the site owner has got some troubles in keeping the site online so I offer the download link again. Just PM me and ask for it.

I've just come across this mod and unfortunately the mod site is down again.

Any chance you could provide a download link for this? I'm even happy to take the responsibility off you because this mod looks great! :)
