I am running the 3dfx version under Windows 10 and am getting no sound output whatsoever. What am I doing wrong?

It seems that DOSBox wants to change the output sound device everytime it runs. Very annoying! Any idea how to stop it from doing that?

Did you perhaps install the game in C:\Programs...
where the game can only edit files if it has administrator rights?

Edit: And just to ask the obvious - you DO get sound in other games so that "no sound" is not a general problem?
