Damn, this game is much faster in real-time combat mode.

I can see you have a kids just by a style of your play - I tend to spent much more time on reading some stuff or just wandering around :)

Btw. You might want to save more often (F7 - quick save, F8 - quick load)

There was also a dog in Ashbury that is even more deadly than a regular Brute Fang but can be recruited only on first visit (it's near the city hall where you give a speech - some cruel small dude tries to kill him with kicks and will do that if you won't help him)

Mechanized arachnid is easier to kill by a higher lvl party (just watching your approaches :D and there's even more nasty felow in the basement of this house :) )

Melee (good gloves, dog's bites) tend to work better on normal damage resistant opponents. This and some special technical-type damage provided by for example Tesla Gun.

i agree, the dog is absolutely a wonderful combatant! You will really come to like this animal =)
