I'm playing with the hi reolution mod, and I'd really like to make use of the reduced / minimal interface (by pressing F10) more often. Problem is that I don't know how to end a combat turn without returning to the full / normal interface, and I hate having to switch between the two frequently. I'd rather just stick with one or the other.

But if there's a way for me to end combat turns with a keystroke I think I can manage playing with the reduced UI.

Is there a proper shortcut key for this?
(I'm playing turn-based, needless to say)
E ends combat.
Aha! I tried all the keys which I thought might logically be assigned to ending a combat turn, but for some reason 'E' just never came to mind. It also isn't listed in that little quick reference card thingie.

Thanks much.

Also, there's this thread: Good Old Games forums: Arcanum Key Reference

Figure it can answer your questions more effectively than I can. For example, I forgot to bring up that you can also engage in combat with the R key, useful if you're a spellcaster who wants to get off a spell at range before the opponents close.

*frowns* In fact, E doesn't end combat, it just ends the round. I was thinking of R.
(I even looked this up, just to make sure I was right. How'd I screw that up?)

lol, when you said in your post that 'E' ends combat I was tempted to respond, "Thanks, but that wasn't really my question." But I decided to try it out in-game first to see what happens, and it worked fine; so no harm done.
