I have been trying to get the 1.8 ver to work on my windows 7. i keep getting stuck at the files arent registered, through i have used a program to register them.
can anyone help?
i think whats happening is that im placing it in my programs(86x)/gog/arcanum/etc...but the saves are in virtual store. the problem is, i cant get to their to register the editor files...
any help would be great

I've found that installing games in programs(86x) directory causes all kinds of problems. I know this isn't a solution but I'd recommend re-installing in a C:Games.. folder (basically anywhere but prog x86 etc

If you're still in the early part of the game, I'd recommend starting from scratch using the above.

Incidentally, not sure what app you used to register the game but the best I've come across is: OCX DLL Manager
