I successfully downloaded Arcanum from www.gog.com, that went fine, but when I try to run the setup program, my icons on my desktop disappear for a bit (they do come back in a minute) but nothin happens in the way of the game loading. i have downloaded all the accessories - manual, reference card, etc. Can anyone help me?

Have you tried running the game as an administrator?

I replied about this in a different thread, sorry. The problem is with running the installer, not the game. But running as administrator, as TwoHandedSword suggested, might help. Try right-clicking the setup.exe file and choosing "run as administrator" from the menu. See if that works.

What operating system are you using? Windows 7?

No, I am using XP - I got the main page to load, not sure if the actual game will load. I will check out and let you know.
