I just finished this beautifull game.
Do you suggest some good module to play? I speak about new adventure's modules.
I don't like very much diablo-style games (and Arcanum combat system is not the best).
Thank you for suggestions.
None of the modules I've tried have been as interesting as Arcanum itself, but you can look here to find most of the available modules.
Sadly enough, while held in high esteem by gamers, Arcanum never really took off with modders. Don't know why, as the game did come with tools.
Out of all the mods I've tried, I'd suggest to try Troikas own mods, but I never have fully completed them, as I just didn't find them as interesting as Arcanum itself.
I've tried buried secrets, deathmatch and "time". Time was the only one worth playing, deathmatch was a single lame combat (as far as I could see) and buried secrets seemed broken. 98% of time is a prolonged dungeon slog, it involves lots of fighting and no social skills. It probably took about 10 hrs to play through and at the end my character was 24th level.

Did you manage to beat Buried Secrets?
The boss seems to be immune to damage, I could only defeat him with disintegrate and dominate will (after some savegame editing).

Time was fairly good, but I could not get a decent ending, because demons spawned and killed Darren.

Which one? The default real-time with pause, or the two turn-based options?

*Seems I misremembered this. Been playing again, and the space bar actually toggles real-time and turn-based.

I found them barely playable. The ones I tried seemed to be all about resource management. The only time I made any real progress was with a mage build, but I got bored of waiting for my fatigue to recover (as most of the modules disable waiting and resting) and gave up.

Of the ones I've played I think only the "Time" module actually has places you can rest. If you want to try a module, this is the one I would recommend. I played as a brain dead melee fighter and found more healing potions than I really needed. After a while the power of the monsters didn't keep up with my own power, so I turned the difficulty level up to hard (although it seemed to make little difference).

No, I got stuck at the beginning. I found the book was missing from the tomb, and it didn't give me any conversation options to tell the priest guy, I didn't see anyone else to talk to or any other place to go, so I gave up.
