I know this is probably a dumb question, but how do i install a mod into game directory. I downloaded the level cap mod and it says to run in directory.

Don't you just have to point the installer/extractor to the main directory of the game?

Like DrIstvaan said, if the mod gives you the option on where to install, point it to the game directory.
Some require that you move the mod into the game directory to install. I move my mods to the game directory before installing so, if it gives me the option or not, I can install right then.
Just remember if you are using Vista / Win 7 to right click the mod and click "Run as an administrator" on the resulting dialog to install.
Arcanum install directory is C:\Program Files\Gog.com\Arcanum unless you installed in a different directory (often necessary with Vista / Win 7)

How do I install mods in IWD 2 on windows 10 as I cant get the MOD to run in the game directory. Im trying to Install the ease of use mod from here weidu.org
