FullStory:
I've just installed the game and wasn't even able to get past the loading screen after pressing "New Game". Tried messing around the in-game options with no result.
TL;DR:
Problem: Hang on loading screen after hitting "New Game".
Solution: Set "V-Sync" "OFF" in your GPU options ( Either for the game or Global ).
