Is there a German version or a language patch for this game?

Usually, the games that GOG releases are patched to the final/latest version. Also, which of the games do you mean?

I mean a patch to change the language from englisch to german.

Like 7upMan rightfully asked, which one of the games, AquaNox or AquaNox 2, are you trying to patch? Maybe both?

Nevertheless, after a quick google search, all I could find, whether for AquaNox or AquaNox 2 were some German patches to update the US version to the latest version... maybe someone else can help you further with this, but it would be better if you specified which of the games are you looking the patch for.

Sorry i forget to tell that im looking for a german language patch for both games. I hope there will be a german Version on GOG soon, because in my opinion the german voice sounds a lot better

I guess I should stop using GOG as much as I do. I never even imagined that the original language the games were developed in could be missing when I bought it on the present sale. Should have gotten it on Steam I guess, oh well...

that kinda sucks, just bought Schleichfahrt, which is available in german, english and french.

i checked aquanox 1+2 and figured they are english only? okay, schleichfahrt is ubisoft and aquanox 1+2 are nordic, but anyway, i'd really like to have the german versions.

guess i have to keep my cd-version after all. for now.

If you still own the CD Versions, you are able to copy the files of your CDs into the GoG Version. Then you should have German Voices and German Story Text. The Menues are still in english language.

Für die die der deutschen Sprache mächtig sind: aus 2 mach 1. Einfach die Dateien von euren CDs in die GoG Version kopieren und ihr habt deutsche Versionen ohne CD Zwang.

Jup, hab Interesse. Normalerweise spiele ich alle Spiele auf Englisch, aber hier...ugh...die Deutsche Stimme von Deadeye Flint ist einfach mal viiiiiel besser und passender. Zu den anderen Stimmen kann ich nichts sagen, weil ich nicht über das Intro hinausgekommen bin, musste erstmal schauen, ob man es nicht auf Deutsch installieren kann (leider nein :/ )

das menü konnte ich leider nicht deutsch bekommen weil einige textfiles in einer Datei enthalten sind, die nicht auf der cd Version existieren. die steam und die gog version haben noch eine weitere datei als update bekommen, und da konnte ich leider nicht drum rum die drin zu lassen und somit weiterhin englisches menü.

ingame sind die audiodateien, die videos und die texteinblendungen weitestgehen deutsch, das bezieht sich auf beide Teile von Aquanox

nimmt patches-scrolls selbstgemachte patche in die downloads mit auf ?

viele sprachpatche für spiele gibt es auch auf schote.biz
die haben dort nur deutschpatche im downloadbereich

oder auch auf online-games-shop.de im forum, da habe ich alle meine patche hochgeladen, die ich schon erstellt habe.

I tried the Aquanox-Deutschpatch and it worked perfectly. But I want to play the game with German voice and English text. So I used the file unpacker in the AquaNox 1-2 modding tools that I downloaded from moddb.

It turns out that is the aquanox1.pak contains all the audio files. But unfortunately replacing the gog version with this certain pack file only is impossible. The game will crash after the intro because there is a folder within whose title is different between the two versions. I edited the unpacked files and dragged the whole folder to the unpacker to see if it could pack them up as well. But it didn't work that way at all ...

The source code is included with the unpacker but there's nothing I can do about it. So I'd like to know if there's any tool is able to do the trick?
