Is there a way to increase it, I think it might be my resolution is just set to high but either way having a little quicker aim would be nice, especially given this control scheme, and it just seems sluggish right now.

Hey...i will try to explain in english. It's impossible to speed up the mouse in-game (Xbox pad is better ^^)
So you can change it in windows settings :
Press Windows + r
write regedit then press enter
go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Control Panel/Mouse
double clic on MouseSensitivity, and here you can increase the mouse speed.
Don't frget to reboot the computer
