Really a testament of how far games have come since then... and how much patience I had in my early 20s... lol.

This game seems to be 5 minutes of playing, go, watch a movie or TV show episode, come back, play another 5 mins... Or scarf down 5 liters of healing potions to heal a minor wound. And every item has a minimum weight of 2 lbs... 2 lb healing potions lol.

Yet, it's still oddly addicting, even though I can't stop swearing at it.

Another one of those games I wish could get a redo and polish for modern computers!

RAELIZARM!!!1!
Yup, it's like baby's first RPG. When I was a kid and had no clue about game design, I unironically wanted RPGs with realistic travel times and modeling equipment slots down to underwear.

(Although I'd argue with the notion of progress after an explosion of grinding mmorpgs, facebook games and cookie clickers. There's not much progress in the TTRPG market, nor in CRPGs. The Dark Heart of Uukrul (1989) was incredibly advanced, while Wasteland 2, Pillars of Eternity and The Banner Saga all have terrible skill and/or combat systems.)

A number of items are "lightweight", most notably mana herbs and amulets. Don't hoard the potions.

At least it's an easy fix. It should be an easy matter for an experienced modder to simply find the line of code that controls the healing rate, and increase the number as much as needed – ten times, for starters.
High strength makes hit points regenerate faster and high power makes mana regenerate faster.
Even with max Power it takes forever to recover your spellpoints. I find myself watching youtube videos or messing around on my phone more than I do playing the game sometimes. =/
Hey guys,
Did some poking around in the files and found where the value for mana regen is stored.

1. Open your save file in your favorite hex editor
2. Go to offset 0x4C75
3. In the byte at this address, put in "FF". In the byte directly next to it, enter "00". It should look like this now:

FF 00

I feel this is a pretty decent mana tick without being overpowered. The original intended mana tick is way too low and frustrating. I'm impatient though, so this mana tick might be a little high for most people. Feel free to mess with these values as you wish (replace the FF with any value between 00 and FE in hexadecimal if you want a smaller tick).

Hope that helps!
