Will a Mac version become available for this game? Since it uses Dosbox I don't think there are any technical reasons for it not to...

GOG will not, nor will they ever say anything about any possible MAC or even Linux(should they start supporting Linux) versions of any game till it's available on the site. This is something people need to bear in mind, this is typically done to avoid the inevitable "when is it coming out" and "omg where is the MAC or Linux version of this game?" posts that will crop up about a day or two after they say something or even worse the backlash that would happen should they say "hey we got this game you really want coming to your non windows OS" and it never materializes due to one reason or another,

as for reasons well while there may be no Technical reasons but there are legal reasons. GOG just can not toss a game with Boxer or Wine for Mac users and put it up for sale or make it available to existing users, they need permission/a licence to do so from the copyright holders. Yes it should be a no brainer since the copyright holder has to do jack all outside of giving GOG their blessing and then reap any additional profits but sadly more often than not either their(the rights holders) executives don't see it that way or their legal team or both.

If you are comfortable with DOSBOX then just download the Gog DOS version and set it up yourself...You couldn't scare me into running OS X, but I always redo Gog's dosbox setups with my own, anyway....so I think you could probably do this yourself...;)

I found a wine wrapper on a site called "Porting Team". There are many wrappers for many GoG games on there. It works like a charm for me.
