I did not know this game had been updated to the 20th anniversary edition until yesterday. I saw a friend playing the 20th Anniversary Edition on Steam, and I bought it from GOG when it was the 15th anniversary edition. I stopped by the forum and saw that it had been updated. I downloaded the updated installer and the extras, but the manual is still for the older 15th anniversary edition though. I mainly want to know what do the difficulty settings do?

Like someone else mentioned on one of the other threads, the difficulty setting sets how fast the game runs - if on Hard mode, the game will essentially play at full speed. If you play on any lower settings, the game speed slows down to give you more time to figure things out and react to the games different situations.
