I have left the Control Room and am in the Cistern. I pulled the right lever (every which way !) to allow the upper bridge to lower a bit in order for me to throw rocks at the circular thingy and unjam the bridge, but the bridge won't lower at all and my rocks won't go high enough. I've gone back to the Control Room many times hoping the lever would somehow work on re-entering the Cistern. I've been trying for days. I LOVE this game and would like a fix. Want to go on to the next in the series.

HELP please...I uninstalled and reinstalled, played from the beginning in "new" game, got to this same point and once again cannot proceed. That particular bridge will not drop at all. Therefore, I am unable to unjam it. Is there a patch ? Anyone else have this problem ?

You might want to throw the other switch to raise the other bridge. There is some delay, just enough time for you to get on that bridge. Once you're up, you can jump on the bridge that is stuck, which will then lower. Be aware that you'll likely loose considerable amounts of health.

Thanks fronze...I tried that and I wasn't fast enough. However, my PC got the "Blue Screen of Death" ( HP ) and totally died. So I now have a new PC/Tower/Monitor, got a good gaming one and even added extra power, an extra cooler plus the best video/graphics driver. Now I need to d/l and hopefully this game will work better...hope, hope !!
