Hey everyone, I've got this game as gift for my birthday from my one of my friends and I am quite new here so I'm sorry if this seems like a silly doubt. I've installed the game and it crashes on launch. Please help me.

You have to be more specific about the problem if anyone can help you out, as in you need to post the error you were getting at time of crash. I had a similar problem and turning off DEP worked. You can try that by following steps given here.
