The new game and the very first game appear to share the same install directory by default. As this could cause some obvious conflicts, especially if someone wants to uninstall one but not the other, I suggest that one of these should get a distinct name, for example the new one could be "Alone in the Dark 2024".

I hope you solved it in the mean time, but if not, give one of the versions a custom installation path, instead of the default directory the GoG installer provides.

I did do that, and it did fix it, but this isn't the sort of thing that should be expected of most users. I'm hoping CDProjekt resolve this at some point. Also, the prologue is still completely MIA on GOG.
