So, from what I understand so far the galaxy-thing is it´s own Multiplayer Structure thingy, does that mean that the only people I can play the MP part with the other gog.com users or can we play with / against friends that own the game on Steam?

The original idea was to allow you to play between platforms - not sure if that function is working yet since it's in Beta.

For now, the AvP beta is limited to GOG Users. Once the game will be made available for purchase, there will be an update to the Steam version that will enable cross play. Then Steam players will be able to play against GOG players.

Good to know. I just hope that devs will do such updates for other games too, the last thing we need on the PC is to split the people in the MP Parts based on where they purchased the game.
