Hi all!

It was fun playing this game until Mission 9. After miserably failing at the end of the level
then restarting it next day something worse happened: NO COMBAT MUSIC.
I had proper sound/music so far, so sadly it isn't the usual "solve it with 1920/1080
trick in the cfg". Tried it, didn't work. Reinstalled - didn't help. Rolled back the system
by 2 days - didn't work (only the save files got pwned, lol).

I'm heartbroken, since without music this game is only 25% enjoyable.
That heart-pumping music adds so much. Every others sound source works,
even atmospheric/ambient music (which is also .ogg), except this. :(

Any help is warmly appreciated.

(EDIT: ironically the combat music works in survive mode... sigh.
Started another character just for checking, same stuff. :( )

You talk about two new levels or about whole game? At two new missions there is no music - because this is not AS2 (with also multiplayer\coop), but Reloaded version. Originally no music at all. (and no VO - they added later)

(some previuos versions\editions have music and\or VO dub - russian localised CD version (not online!) have MUISC - except two new levels ofc - but no russian voices! russian speech! In rus version, Carl!)

Also there is few differ tricks for widescreen resolutions. In any way - better keep aspect ratio 4:3 nd x768p (black bars). Some tricks have proper UI. Some even proper working cursor. Most instruction availabe on net - only for screnn changes without proper UI.
As i remember, there is mod for better scaling Ui and maybe something else. Taken from later AS games.

Thanks for your answer! Don't know which are the new levels. Maybe Mission 9? Possible.
But yep, music came back later. Another strange sound issue that in the last 2 Missions
the sound engine gets overloaded or something, because continuous shooting doesn't
produce any effects, but if I stop for a second and shoot only one projectile, the effect is
audible. Strange.

Thanks again, the issue sorta solved itself, it was just strange for an AS game to not have
combat music. On a note, when I checked the error log it seemed it tried to load action06
and action10.ogg but was unable to do so, since those files don't exist in AS2: R.
