nandesz00: The problem is that the update installer make a new save folder for the game in the Documents/Remedy.
Original folder: Alan Wake_GOG_Version
new : Alan Wake

Just copy your save file from the original folder to the new one.
It seems the newest game version changed its savegame folder. This problem will be addressed soon.
For now please do as nandesz00 said.

The new patch is ready - save game folder is back to the original. If you copied the saves to the other folder, you should move them back.

Coelocanth: Okay, there's a patch 1.03 for Alan Wake and a patch 1.02 for American Nightmare. If you have both games installed, which do you use?
You need to install both patches.
