I have been reading about some of the 1.006 and 1.007 patch changes which look great. Sadly it seems GoG currently only has the 1.005 version. Online searches have not revealed a direct way to get the later patches. So Chris, any plans on making a way for people with the GoG verison to stay up to date?

There are chances you can get the update 1.007 through Galaxy : I see on my account that the game is at 1.007 (while offline installers are still at 1.005).
For offline installers, there are usually no updates during the week-end on GOG (because it's GOG who handles/check offline installers), so there you'll have to wait for monday or tuesday certainly !

Hope this helps.

Thanks a ton. I almost never use Galaxy, but now I have a reason to do so.

No problem, always happy to help :)
I can confirm that Galaxy does keep up with the patches issued by Arcen. Arcen's been consistent about pushing those patches, and Galaxy has been publishing them more or less contemporaneous with Steam. The standalone installers are going to lag behind that, I'm afraid.

AI War 2 is a fresh release and the style of this developer is to push out almost bi-weekly patches, and the standalone insallers are always going to lag behind that activity.
Offline installers have been updated to 1.007 :)

It's pretty common that offline installers have some (various) delay (whatever the game is), because GOG check them (bug free, well working...) before updating them. I believe that it's a bit less "restrictive" on Galaxy. But this way, we have checked & well-working offline installers :)

We're still waiting on updates for Linux and Mac, but I'm sure they will arrive soon.
Just letting everyone know the game has been getting steady updates. very cool :)
When is Bionic Dues patched at GOG/Galaxy to 1.103, 5 years old last version?
Will AI War 2 be so abandonned???
