There are apparently 2 layouts of keys which are identical and I can't change a single button in it. Is this for real? Game released in 2018 (and re-released in 2021 on GOG) that doesn't allow you to change keys that you prefer to play with?

As it turns out I was trying to run the old crappy version of it. Found a switch in GOG Galaxy to switch to Agony Unrated which doesn't have menus locked to 30fps which feels horrible and also has adjustable controls which just doesn't exist in the original. Make sure you play the Unrated version. Otherwise I'd refund the game because not having adjustable controls is just insane.

yeah i just bought agony but only dl'ed the offline installer for unrated. enjoying it totally; remapped a few keys and can get the console up easily enough too.
