Hello,
my Game is allways crashing. I cant even get in the game, only the title menu.
it shows no error or something else, its like Alt+F4 and i can see my windows desktop.

i reinstalled the game and deleted all save and config files.

My system is a new Lenovo Legion 5i Pro:
-I7 11800H
-RTX 3070
-all drivers updated

i want to play this game. i hope someone can fix it.

I found a solution. Disable Internet Connection. Play offline.
Please Developer, do something about that.

Well, in my case it works without cutting the internet.
You should write a bug ticket however, posting here on the forum won't do any good.

Btw, try blocking the game's exe in your firewall, this way you don't have to disable the internet connection.

I've tried just about everything to get it to work. None of the solutions I found online work for me. Oh well, least I got the game free I guess.

after over 2h of gameplay i can confirm this mod fixed my issues i can now play without any crash happening

I downloaded this mod, and did as it says. Launch the game via the download (launch-agony.bat), not the regular .exe.

This bypasses the GOG launcher though. GOG has a feature that lets additional launch files to be added without going into the install folder every time.

In the GOG launcher, instead of "Play" to start the game, use the gears next to the button and choose manage installation. Go into "Configure", and go to the FEATURES tab at the top.
Check the box to Launch parameters for Custom executables / arguments.
At the bottom, in File 2: it let me brows to the GOG installation folder, and choose the "launch-agony.bat" and hit OK at the bottom to confirm.
In the GOG launcher again, use the gears icon next to the Play button, there will be a new line on top of the pop-up box with Additional Executables. Highlight that and "launch-agony.bat" will be there. Select that to launch the game.
This allows GOG to upload / Sync game save files and retain all GOG related online features.

Use this feature, or not. I found it useful for a few other games too. Hope this helps.
