Was looking at this on sale before - however the gog reviews and comments in forum kinda turned me off. Its 2022. How the condition of this game at the moment?

The game works as it supposes to. You just need to be sure to have the latest GPU drivers.

Regarding installation of Windows media player component (please do not mix it up with window media player app) - it is a regular part of Windows and by default all installations have it installed.
Users can opt out and uninstall it (for whatever reason) and in that case there would be no sound. Nevertheless, you can always install it back.

P.S. I am sorry for such delay. I am active on Steam forum but forum on GoG is quite dead so I am not coming back often.
