southern: Well, just use the airship to escape, then stop using it, I guess. This is the game where only the neutral players could recruit their airships right?
Apparently yes.

If no one objects, perhaps I can keep the Air Ship, since I'm the only one who hasn't played this map any? If people prefer not, then I'll find a way to ditch it safely once my units seem to have a route to somewhere and I'll try to avoid using it in combat in the meantime.

Meh, if you just use it for transport, I guess it's not so serious. I don't like having unenforceable rules anyway

That's not possible: there's only one way out and it's through me ;-p

Well, you could avoid using it to attack through the teleporter and later. Yeah it's actually possible.

I don't mind you lost some time to get it after all.
Lizards, Day 17

A misclick kills a boar and a bomb. Oops.

Also, it kind of looks like this cavern system just loops forever?

TS
Lizards, you just had to do that didn't you.

The goblins try the board roasted by the explosion and go wild. A taste such as this! It never occurred to them that meat could be so tender and tasty. Legends speak of the mythical tastes of above and now legends have become news. No one wants to eat Soylent Goblin™, even though Soylent Goblin™ is the Goblins! Everybody is looking for pig meat, the markets are wild with speculation, expeditions are being organised towards the surface just to find more specimens "for science"... The goblin tribes are boiling with tensions and energy!

Who could stop them now?

You have no idea :D as close to fractal as you can get on a AOW map.
Lizards, Day 19

The prison is indeed a prison. No way to break out any time soon.

On another front, the orcs are going to take at least one town without my being able to do anything about it.

TS
The goblin northermost tribe is scouring the surface looking for more tender pork meat but alas there's only sand and scorpions around here. Wow, orcs so far north! That's a surprise. Will the desert become another theatre of war?

In the meanwhile, the lizards try again a feeble attack without even the means to break my tower's wall... What are they preparing?
Lizards, Day 20

Time to see whether the Orcs decide to try their luck.

In the meantime, we decide to annoy the Goblins some. There might be fun to be had with this prison yet!

TS
Orcs, Day 21

The Lizardman king dared us to attack him, so we did. We managed to bring twelve archers, a couple melee units, and a battering ram. We also fired our Lightning Altar, got lucky, and zapped him pretty goo just beforehand. Then the archers killed him.

With both the Azrac and Lizardman domains in chaos, there is much to be done. Already the Goblins have many parties in Azrac lands.
A powerful orc hero is approaching the azrac prison. Fire seems to pose her no issue. I risk a goblin and a spider and with a lucky web on a beholder, I'm rewarded with the Librarian, the spellcaster prisoner, with whom I then town portal away from under the nose of the orcs!

How did you acquire Town Portal already? o.O

Lizards, Day whatever

How silly of me to expect the Lightning Altar to NOT do full damage, or to survive the following barrage of archers and get a turn in combat.

I think Altars do full damage when they manage to hit a 10 DEF (or is it RES? I think it's actually DEF) unit, because it is a critical hit. 10% chance...
We explore more ruins finding more of the crazy items that have been gifted by the Gods. Then we use them for good measure...

That's nothing ;)

Game's almost over, I'll write a bit at the end.

21 turns and the game is already nearly over? Then I'm glad I went ahead and died, because I had the impression that the expansion phase was still going on. :-/
Wait... are the dwarves dead too lol? Then the Goblins must outsize me vastly and the game is indeed over.
