I'll play this one!
Wonderful! Dark Elves start first, so I'll get this started in just a moment.
Dark Elves - Day 1

Our brethren would dare to try to fight against us? They are blinded by their "kindness" and will fall because of it.
Elves, Day 1

Goaded by our blasphemous cousins, we have used force to make a nearby Halfling town join us, when they demanded gold that was needed for war spending. Mercy and generosity are luxuries we can afford only when we are weak; just so long as we keep them in mind, and never stoop to necromancy.
Dark Elves - Day 2

Dark Elven scouts head out further into the darkness of the underground caverns and some show their faces in the lands above under the cover of smoke. Allies and places of power must be found which can be used to fight against the Elves no matter how much blood they spill in an effort to hide the mercy which lies within them. Mercy is a point of weakness which will be found by the blades of my executioners.

Elves, Day 2

A swordsman falls to a wolf; we explore caves and land.
Dark Elves - Day 3

Wild Kobolds in the underground block our way, being incapable of understanding the simplest of language... they are quickly dispatched with a sword through each body. Perhaps the Kobolds in the Orc pens will be of more value to us.

-- Tanari --
Dark Elves - Day 4

More Orcs have been recruited in our fight against... Humans? There are Humans here? Those who started the fall of our one-great empire would dare set foot in these lands to take advantage of us while we fight more important battles? This intrusion will not stand.

-- Tanari --
Elves, Day 5

We see a river; is there a Shipyard somewhere?
Dark Elves - Day 5

We spring forth from the cover of our smoke to destroy the Dwarven outpost of Northstar in the mountains. This will be a good staging point for my forces.

-- Tanari --
Day 5, Elves

We've conquered a small outpost of the heretics; they shall learn of our peaceful ways BY FORCE
Additionally, a monster rose fro mthe river unexpectedly and ate a swordsman, but we slew it without further incident.

That same party - a swordsman, priest and silver-medal archer - then managed to defeat three Dark Elf swordsmen and an Archer at that outpost, with no losses. They were not led by a Stormlord or such general, however.

Dark Elves - Day 6

The Humans would dare to come challenge me? Well... they do bring more than I would have expected of them. Perhaps we will have to retreat.... for now.

-- Tanari --
Dark Elves - Day 8

Halflings put up a weak defense against my forces and now we have a home on the surface. There are too many creatures of disgusting races in our underground home.

-- Tanari --
Elves, Day 7

We defeated an elven garrison who would not acknowledge our rule.
