Terrenis of the Dark Elves, Day 22

So many Lizards everywhere we look... it is too wet underground.

Dwarves, Day 22

We enjoy the peace, while it lasts.
Humans, Day 23

It is like the world is upside down. All of our Halfling subjects live in the caverns, while all of our Dwarf and Goblin subjects live in the sunshine.

Turn sent

P.S Half of the fun is reading the turn logs of other players, lets get some trash talk or journals going on.
The Azracs are pinned in on all sides. Initiate scorched earth policy!
Terrenis of the Dark Elves, Day 22

It looks as though we finally have the Elves right where we want them! .... Now how to break their walls of archers...?

The Azracs have struck back against one of our scouts, they will pay for this in blood!

Elsewhere, we have a tentative peace with the Humans. It is clear that neither of us trusts the other when the lines are drawn and the defenses are in place, but at this time it appears our peace is of value to both of us.

I agree greyhuntr, MORE STORIES GUUUUUYYYSSS! (I miss the custom text colour from the Age of Wonders Heaven site... I still have all the custom colour codes that match up to each race.)
Elves, Day Whatever

The Spirit Puppet which managed to kill an Orc Swordsman in single combat did not fare so well in the follow-up 7-on-1 fight.

In other fronts, the Azracs continuing burning most everything they encounter. We hire a rebel city, but our new forces deserved the death they got for their incompetence.

We welcome the Dark Elves to try their luck against our walls. They'll probably win the battle, though hopefully they'll lose most everything in the process.

No time for stories, sorry.

Day 23, Dwarves

Until now, us Dwarves have been ruled by a series of village councils in these parts, but today, Tarsnell the Battle Mage declared his overlordship, with the acclamation of the armed forces - many of which aren't even Dwarves! It seems we now serve his ambition, rather than ourselves. Of his plans wh know only that there will be higher taxes to fund his military; he is calling most of the army together to the centre of our lands, where it all started.

Humans, Day 23

We see a very large Orc army approaching from the East. Their ceasefire with the Dwarves has given them some breathing room to move their forces around. Makes us wonder if they left their homeland undefended to see so many troops in the tunnels together. Our mighty heroes have cleaned out some old ruins and found a terrifying mask that is hideous to behold.

Turn sent
The guerilla tactics employed by the elves keep us on the defensive.
Terrenis of the Dark Elves, Day 23

No Azracs have been seen this day; instead we find unexpected allies in the darkness. The Elves cower behind their walls with bows at the ready and the Humans employ their Lizard henchmen in the rivers underground. It is a tentative peace between us with units at the ready keeping an eye out for any aggressive movements. All is calm... for now.
Elves, Day 24

We flip the Dark Elves the bird on our way out. Better hurry, losers!
