What I really need is an "English Plug in" so I can fully appreciate all of Groll's maps. It's hard being a mono-lingual American sometimes. And that wasn't meant as a political statement though it probably would apply... :-)

This patch don't switch the language flag in Registry! After installing this patch, some texts remain in English language (for example: Save, Yes, No, Click to begin, Day 1 dawns ...). If you switch the language flag from 0 to 2 in Registry, then all texts are in German now:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Triumph Studios\Age of Wonders Shadow Magic\General\Language

Beside: The GOG version of AoW SM is already a multilingual version (contains all texts in different languages). You need only an European exe file (AoWSM.exe from the patch above for example) to use all the possibilities. With the Registry key above you can switch between the languages:

0 = Undefined / Standard
1 = English
2 = German
3 = French
4 = Italian
5 = Polish
6 = Russian (but here, a cyrillic font seems missing)
7 = Chinese? (not tested)

Apparantly you are right, although I am not sure why this wasn't included in v2.1.4.0 since it had been before in earlier releases. Anyways, thanks for the feedback. The German Language Pack has been updated.
