The guy keeps telling me my roads are too good in hell, but doesn't say how I'm supposed to make them worse?

The only thing about this that I read in the manual it says "long roads work best in hell". What does that mean? Long in what kind of sense? Straight long roads? I already have exactly that - I'm just starting out, and all I have is one gate, and a straight road that goes left-right from the gate.

Anyone can explain please?

from what i understand you need to make a road system that is NOT efficient to make even moving around itself becomes part of the poor sucker's torment in hell

ie have the different types f punishments very far apart with windy roads so it takes
forever to travel between them as an example maybe a central hub for the gate and
have each punishment off in different directions like spokes on a wheel

at least that was my impression from long ago when i played it in my youth

hopefully this advice can prove true or at least get you started in hinking inteh right direction
