Hey guys.

So, I'm pretty sure my laptop can handle this.

Intel Core 2 Duo 1.83 ghz each
3 gig of RAM
Nvidia Geforce 8400M GS with drivers up to date

I've tried playing with the graphics settings, from all on to all off, and it runs in slow motion. This is not a framerate issue. I had a similar issue with Painkiller, and resetting the affinity seemed to fix that. Not so for this game. It can also have times where it speeds up or slows down. It doesn't seem to matter if I'm looking at a wall or out a window.

Any insight would be awesome!

thanks!

I was going to suggest setting the affinity to one core, but it looks like you already tried that. I don't have a lot of experience with setting affinities, but I've heard that sometimes you need to use a separate program to set them so that they don't automatically revert to using all the cores. Maybe using the RunFirst program will help? There are other programs that will also help you set affinities automatically.

The other thing I wonder is if there could be some more obscure graphics (or other) settings you need to mess with, that are only included in an .ini file somewhere. Could be that disabling something will fix the problem. Also, is your graphics card trying to force antialiasing or anisotropic filtering? Sometimes forcing those effects on games that don't support them causes weird glitches.

I'm just kind of guessing with those last ones though.

Disable SpeedStep.
You need a newer laptop with upgraded specs to play this game properly.
