Does anyone (STILL) get the sound loop bug whenever a Aleigh Burke (USA Destroyer) or DD(X) (TFT ship) launches a tomahawk on ground Units/Buildings?

i sitll have this, I have retail version, then steam version and now GoG version, the bug is still there! I searched on internet for a long time and still no fix.
Yeah, I'm having the same issue..

likewise I get the same problem as well
Firing tomahawks from the Arleigh Burke or from the DDX Destroyer will make the sound loop itself, preventing any other sound or dialogue to be heard.

However, after long searching without finding any solution I thought that it might be an error with the sound file itself. So I thought, why not just delete the "damaged" files. One way to acces the files (the ".dat") is the tool "Game Extractor" but I don't know where to search (many many .dat ....)

If someone at GoG support staff could do that / help us , it will be great
as I said, I searched for many years, no solution yet.

For a long long time, now I can really enjoy naval battle without anoying bug!
Thanks so much!
doesnt work
Works for me but with UAC enabled (Vista and newer) you have to run Mod Manager as administrator or it will crash when trying to run the game. I really hope GOG can update the game to include the fix. Not only the sound looping but the over-land-forced-zooming being gone is also a big improvement.
I tried to follow the instructions but the GOG version has no editor installed. So when I run the mod manager it has no directory to search, and it does not allow me to create one and link to it. I am running Windows 10.

It's a great game except for this bug. Hey GOG guys, how about a patch fix? You already know the problem and how to fix it.
Today 01.03.2019, and still this bug is present in GoG version of game, boys from GoG pls fix this bug
I created a 'mods ' folder and copied both mods into it. Set modmanager to XP2 compatibility mode. When I started modmanager both versions of the fix showed. However when I tried to run either I got an exception error. Has anyone elese had this problem? I am running it on 64 bit Windows 7.

Hey, try to run the ModManager as Administrator.
