I have act of war direct action and high treason for a time. I installed the spanish versions and it works fine for a time, at least for the texts.

But i have reinstaled both games after a downgrade to XP and the spanish versions are now 100% in english for no reason.

The most sad thing is than i don' t find nothing about this in GOG or any other legal site. There is no info, and no language files or language patchs.

but there are hundreds of spanish pirate pages offering the spanish version of the game free and in a perfect state, some of them the ancient GOG version now corrupted or dessapeared.

It takes more time and effort for me to write this comment in a foreign language, than downloading a winzip archive and mounting and iso image with daemon tools in my own language and with a tutorial in you tube.
Hello,

Try to change the Eugen System registry Key entries. You have a value that defines the language... try this:

1) Open "Star Menu"
2) On "Run" type "regedit"
3) Go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> SOFTWARE -> Eugen Systems
4) Inside "ActOfWar_HighTreson" key try to modify the value "Language=EN" to the one that you want...
....Note: If the Value doesn't exist, created ;)

I never needed to changed, but i think the values to different languages is;

Language=FR is to French,
Language=SP is to Spanish
... ...
... ...

Make sure the game support your language first xD ... but as you already play in Spanish before, we know that Spanish is supported :)

Good look

There is a program called "language_setup.exe" in the "Act of War - Direct Action" folder wherever you installed the game; run it, select Spanish, click "save and exit". Done! :) (On the off chance you installed the game via the standalone GOG installer, there should even be a shortcut to this utility in the Start menu group for the game; otherwise, I imagine there's a quick way to access it via your Galaxy library, too.)
I don't have the expansion installed, but I assume it's the same situation with that (although, since there's no option to download a Spanish-language version of the installer, High Treason might not have Spanish as an option in its language settings, either).

EDIT: fixed typo & added clarification
