Same goes for my Nvidia Shield Controller.

The game shows PlayStation buttons in the control options menu.

Mapping the buttons to the keyboard bindings isn't ideal because "Stance Mode", normally R2/Right Trigger, is 4 different buttons on keyboard; Q, E, Z and C.

I don't know how "Avoid" is done with controller under normal conditions but, it's bound to mouse movement, to which I've mapped the Right Stick for camera control, making it difficult to use when A and B are your attack buttons.

I hope that made sense; it's late and I'm tired and hungry...
wireless. game also shows ps4 buttons in the options menu, but does not recognize any controller input.
I'm using a micro-usb and everything is fine.

"The game shows PlayStation buttons in the control options menu."

Default settings, the moment i press a button it change to xbox buttons.
Sorry, this most likely fix your problem but I solved my problem with the Shield Controller by changing the drivers, in Device Manager, from the default "HID-compliant game controller" to "Xbox Wireless Controller", even though the Shield Controller connects over USB

Hello,

Firstly let's focus on controller issues:
- Please go to Window's desktop.
- Please press WinKey+R to open the Run window.
- Run the command: joy.cpl
- In the window select your controller and make sure that it is calibrated properly and selected as the preferred device for older games.

This worked for me boys. Thanks to Dr. Cat.
Glad it's fixed!
