The desktop shortcut the installer creates is not working for me. The screen goes blank and then it's not launched (I go back to the desktop).

When I just launch the "main.exe" executable, tha game works just fine. When I create a new shortcut on the desktop myself, pointing towards main.exe, this also works perfectly...

Other people having the same issue? It's only something minor off course, but a bit annoying that I have to make a desktop shortcut myself and then assign the GOG icon to it...

The desktop shortcut is not working. But in my case the main.exe is also not working - it literally does the same thing as the desktop shortcut - i double click it pretends to load and then it boots me to the desktop.

I cant play the game at all, because it wont start.

Seconded as above, tried to launch from .exe (as many say this will work), but absolutely nada.
Hope we can find a solution, as for some reason I'd really love to play this!!

Depending on system and graphics You do have it might be a problem of wrong 3D accelerator init. I had same problem myself on Win7x64 using AMD graphics card. Running it through Adrenaline with slight decrease of GPU and GRAM clocking did the trick (the under clocking might be just due to I do posses old system with replacement gfx card capable of PCIeX 16×3 but is running as slower due to old main-board).

Did not encoutered this kind of behaviour on nVidia gfx on Win10x64
