Can nobody optimize anymore? Gaming is getting ridiculous.

16GB should be what is in your system anyways, regardless if this game existed or not.

This happens every time memory requirement starts going up in the industry, has been like this for decades, always having people like you basically saying the same thing.

No one should have to drop over 1000$ on a computer just to play a game. "Duh, that's just the way it is" is asinine. The existence of a practice is not justification for said practice. 16gb minimum is absurd. There is zero reason games shouldn't scale better or be better optimized.

I remember people just like you who got mad when games needed more than 1 MB, 4MB, then 16MB, then 500MB, then 1GB, then 2GB, and so on. If you people had your way we would still be at less than 1MB of RAM, lol, Just need to optimize for that 1MB of RAM, hahaha

You can literally buy another 8GB of RAM for around $25, why in the heck are you staying at 8GB? You seriously complaining about spending ~$25 for something you should have in a gaming PC anyways.

Also, a PC that can play this game is less than $1000. I can build a PC that will be above minimum requirements for this game for about $650 with all new parts, I can build one even better for the same price if I get used parts.

Well said, play on console if it bothers you. At the moment only Windows 10 is using 5+ GB of ram for me out of 32GB. So take that in mind when a game maybe only have 3GB left to use if you have 8GB.

The elitism in gaming is always hilarious. "Why do you want devs to optimize their games!? Ugh, I hate people like you, just spend more money." Yall are hilarious. Its not like this is a jump from 1mb ram. MOST games today still take 6-8gb to run. This isn't some, "The game can only possibly run if its 16gb!1", it could literally be lowered by better optimization.

I gather you don't play at 4k with all the graphics bells and whistles. Consoles, even, are now up to 8GBs.If you want optimized for 1080P then consoles are where you need to be. But consoles make their money on the game software, @ $70-$80 a shot, very often. So, they'll get you one way or another...;)

I really don't care about graphical fidelity.
