Playing on a Surface pro running windows 8 pro.
It was working fine for the longest time.
I installed a windows update and now I can't play the game.
When I click on the game I get a split second black screen flash and then back to the desktop.
How can I fix this?

Here's what I've tried:
Re-installing the game.
Rolling back the update. - this worked, but then the update installed again and I'm back to the same place. I'd like to solve the problem without turning off updates.
Tried installing the game on the hard drive instead of the SD card.
Tried running the game in windowed mode.

Nothing seems to work. I think I'm more than half way through this and I just want to get to the end of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you write to support about this? They sporadicly read the forums.
What update did you install?
Did you install the game to the Program Files folder or another one?
Have you tried re-installing the game? Remember not to delete your save when you uninstall the game.
