Is anyone else experiencing random crashes? I can't pinpoint the issue. The game can run fine for 30+ minutes and can crash on the ship or in different levels. I've verified the files through GOG Galaxy, I've updated my video driver, I've switched from Fullscreen to Borderless Window. Nothing seems to fix the problem.

Try turning on V-Sync. Since update 2 I got two crashes and after I turned V-Sync back on the game runs fine. Played for 3+ hours without any problem.

Thanks, I'll try turning V-Sync off and on because it is already on.
Figured I'd throw my report in here, as well, but I'm getting them, too, and it always seems to happen when I've been in a level for a long while. VSync on and off did not help.

I just got the game and its been crashing a lot. Usually freezes, and after a few minutes either the game crashes or my whole computer freezes until I turn it off. Disabled mods and turned V-sync on and it still happens. Some help would be nice.
I wouldn't place my bets on there being an update to fix these problems so refunding the game would be a given.
I think I might have found a solution. If running in Win10

--Go to the game's directory
(Using Galaxy: click "More" > "Manage Installation")
-- Navigate to the EXE ( Located ...GalaxyClient\Games\A Hat in Time\Binaries\Win64)
-- Right Click > Properties > Compatibility tab
-- Check the box labeld "Disable fullscreen optimizations"
-- Apply

I haven't had any random crashes since checking this box.

Hope this helps!!!
Tried that method ferocious_pickle and it still crashes on me

Well... crap. Sorry it didn't help you.
Other suggestions:
Have you tried a fresh install after the latest patch? Updating video drivers? playing the game windowed vs fullscreen?

Shots in the dark, I know, but it's usually my first course of action when running into these sorts of problems. Good luck!
I had random crashes too, but since the new update (and DLC) I don't crash anymore!
